9. BMC PATROL ENGINEER
Description: The successful candidate needs to be a detailed oriented IT professional that is well versed in BMC monitoring products as well as experience with basic operations and management of multiple computer platforms. The candidate will be part of the Enterprise Systems Management team which is comprised of all Acxiom System Engineer/Architect/Administrator positions and will need to be able to work independently on some projects and as a collaborating team member with Acxiom’s associates and customers on others. Communication with Acxiom’s customers is likely. The main objective of the team is to monitor the health and performance of customer systems, infrastructure, web sites and applications and provide proactive notification of events, reports on trends and support of trouble-shooting efforts.
Duties:
Connection maintenance. The system auto-generates trouble tickets when a monitored system is no longer communicating to the back-end infrastructure. Common causes include server changes, network/firewall changes, agent corruption and operator intervention. The candidate will be response to own the issue and work with other teams as needed until the issue is resolved.
Agent installation. The candidate will be taking on installation work of monitoring for customer systems. Some work will be individual installs on new server additions or rebuilds, other work will be part of larger team installs relating to mass upgrades or new customer migrations. Installations are executed remotely using BMC DS and PCM tools and will require working with OS support teams to ensure installation pre-requests are complete. It will be the candidate’s responsibility to trouble-shoot any issues that occur relating to the installation and configuration of the monitoring for the customer.
Reporting administration. The candidate will be response for system health, maintenance and scheduling of reports in the teams reporting system. The current system is the discontinued BMC Service Reporting tool. Plans include migration to a new Business Objects Crystal Reports system that has yet to be built.
Audits. The candidate will have as a secondary responsibility doing periodic audits of customer environments to verify they are in compliance with documented Acxiom standards for monitoring.

10. PRODUCTION CONTROL ANALYST
Responsibilities:
Production Control Analysts are responsible for the job monitoring of various Mainframe and Open Systems Scheduling packages. They are responsible for the insurance that all nightly schedules are run properly and on time. They are to perform escalations as per documentation and restart and/or resubmit jobs based on Client direction or as defined in Client run documentation. They also must provide detailed and timely problem documentation utilizing the Remedy problem reporting system. These individuals also must be able to perform in a very eclectic environment that encompasses several different Mainframe and Open Systems Scheduling packages.
Required skills:
Proven experience with CA7 Scheduling Package required
Experience with ESP Scheduling package desirable
Experience with one of the following: Maestro, Jobtrac, Zeke, Advanced Job Scheduler, UC4 a plus
Proven skills in relation to job recovery, submission
OS JCL experience

11. MAINFRAME SECURITY ADMINISTRATOR
Responsibilities:
This position requires performing security administration for security requests and providing technical assistance on security issues. This includes adding, changing, deleting user accesses, investigating security problems, and reviewing security reports. It also includes evaluating the existing security implementation, making recommendations for improvements, and implementing new/enhanced security solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring adherence to company security policies, procedures, and standards.
The candidate will be part of a security team supporting numerous customers across multiple MVS systems. They will work very closely with the technical, operational, customer relationship, and audit teams as well as with leadership.
Candidate requirements:
The successful candidate must have a good working knowledge of the mainframe RACF security product. Knowledge of RACF/Vanguard tool, ACF2 or Top Secret is a plus. The candidate must be familiar with the MVS operating system and know JCL and TSO/ISPF/PDF.
Experience implementing security solutions such as encryption keys, LDAP, password synchronization product, and knowledge of audit and regulatory compliance is a plus.
Beside the candidate requirements above, other essential skills include:
